Arts in Society hosts track on cultural democracy at research conference

September 15-17 2025, Arts in Society members Geert Drion and Johan Kolsteeg will host a track on Cultural Democracy at the annual conference of the European network on cultural management and Policy, Encatc. The track theme invites proposals concerning theoretical input on the topic, which is increasingly gaining traction in the cultural policy and practice field.

The track continues on the volume on cultural democracy edited by Johan Kolsteeg, Barend van Heusden and Jeroen Boomgaard for Palgrave MacMillan, which will appear later this year.
